Puddletown Surgery is a small rural training practice with 4,300 patients and three GPs providing dispensing services to 99% of our patients.  We take pride in supporting our patients in sickness and in health, providing a full range of health care services to them both in the surgery and in their own homes.

We are a dynamic and supportive Practice who recognise the health and wellbeing of our team is as important as that of our patients. Staff are actively supported in their development and education while maintaining a good work/home life balance.

Our Integrated Nursing Team provides exceptional care for our patients providing overarching care in the surgery and in their own homes, combing the services of both Practice and District Nurses.

Puddletown Surgery are looking for a Registered Nurse, with Practice or Community Nurse experience to work within our Integrated Nursing Team. This post would suit a Nurse with Community experience wanting to develop their Practice Nurse Skills, or a Practice Nurse looking to develop Community Skills. Support and training will be given.

The post is up to 30 hrs, alternative hours/ job share would be considered. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Administrator Receptionist

Puddletown Surgery is a friendly, rural, practice of two GP partners and one salaried GP, serving a population of 4,200 patients.  We are a training practice and work from large modern, purpose-built premises.  The Practice prides itself on high levels of patient satisfaction and its reputation as a centre of excellence.

We are currently seeking a capable, enthusiastic, and committed Practice Team administrator/receptionist to join our close-knit, hardworking, and friendly team. While prior experience with SystmOne and the NHS is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

Our admin team provide an important first point of contact for our patients. Excellent customer service and an empathetic approach is vital for this role. A good computer knowledge and proficient keyboard skills are important. Training will be given on the use of our clinical system.

We have a vacancy working 17.5 hours per week over 3 days. These contracted hours include working during our extended hours service on a Saturday morning, on a rota basis.

The successful applicant should have the following attributes:

• Friendly and approachable with a sense of humour.

• Flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts, provide cover for holidays and sickness

• Good computer skills

• Able to work as part of a team and liaise appropriately with other healthcare professionals.
