PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
The Surgery has an active Patient Participation Group which meets quarterly.
The group’s successes include:
- raising the concerns of individuals which affect the running of the Practice
- ensuring that nearly every household receives a copy of the practice newsletter and will continue to do so
- supporting health education (e.g. the Weight Management evening) and the Expert Patient Programme
- supporting Carers
- supporting the Practice in its responses to the NHS when needed, e.g. on the Pharmacy White Paper.
